Blending Cultures, Communities & Countries through Netball

International Netball Festival Inc is a not-for-profit organisation and was founded by the Festival’s President Jane Rushton who has been involved in netball for many years. INF holds three netball Festivals each year on the Gold Coast, in Fiji and Christchurch, promoting netball players to be active, build on skills and broaden their experiences, as well as getting communities involved by spectating, volunteering and providing goods and services.

 

The first Festival was held in 2012 on the beautiful Gold Coast, Australia attracting over 500 players from the local city and Queensland state areas as well as from interstate and internationally. This Festival is held annually in April.

 

INF has grown to staging a December Festival in idyllic Fiji supporting the local Netball communities by attracting players from around the world to play at competitive and social levels. Travelling teams sponsor Fijian teams so netball players that would otherwise not be in a position to play can participate in the Festival. Promoting netball as an exciting sport to play benefits the sport, the players as well as their families.

 

INF held its inaugural INF Christchurch in September 2019. It was an amazing Festival and promises to be an integral part of the netball calendar each year in picturesque New Zealand.

  MORE THAN JUST A NETBALL FESTIVAL

International Netball Festival Inc is more than just a netball festival. We pride ourselves in giving back. From travelling teams sponsoring local teams to play, to donating gifts to teams such as bibs, socks, old uniforms, whistles, other netball equipment or by donating to a Wildlife Hospital to care for sick native animals or saving a Kiwi, teams are often overwhelmed by the smiles of gratitude and appreciation from giving back.

 

Our Festivals are an amazing and fulfilling experience in more ways than one! Come join us
nd show off your netball skills and learn new ones, gain memories that will last a lifetime,
make new found friends, and delve into the local culture for an all round experience.

Supported by Intersport Global, specialists in international group sports tours, INF provides a full
service to its teams by offering competitive travel, accommodation and activities packages for
travelling teams. Local teams are encouraged to participate as well with play only plus event
options (Welcome Meet & Greet and Festival Dinner) available.
